The Transylvania Lectures series was launched in February 2022 and now regularly brings international and regional guests to our MCC Center in Kluj (Kolozsvár) every month.
The event features round-table discussions where prominent opinion leaders engage in thoughtful debates on key issues shaping international public discourse. Rather than offering rapid analyses of short-term events, the focus is on addressing broader, strategic concerns that resonate with contemporary thinkers. These discussions aim to bring an international perspective to the heart of Transylvania, creating opportunities for Hungarians and Romanians alike to deepen their understanding of global dynamics and the shared challenges they face.
A central goal of this lecture series is to foster collaboration and dialogue between Hungarian and Romanian communities by bringing them together at MCC. This platform serves as a bridge for discussing the future of Transylvania and exploring pathways to build a region that is inclusive and beneficial for all its residents. Through these conversations, the series aspires to lay the groundwork for a shared vision and a sustainable future for Transylvania, rooted in mutual respect and cooperation.
