This year, for the second time, the Mathias Corvinus Collegium Training Centre in Szekszárd is organising the cultural MCC ARS - "under the hill, over the plain", a three-day High School Talent Harvest!

Applications for the five artistic categories of the MCC ARS are open until 16 February 2025 for individual and pair productions, as well as literary and visual art works.

The MCC ARS is a thematic arts festival for MCC secondary school students, covering the entire Carpathian Basin, where you can showcase your talents in five artistic disciplines, according to the theme of the current year.

As a dress rehearsal for the festival, each training center will organize its own small MCC ARS club afternoon in March, where you will first have to present your productions/works to your fellow students and the programme coordinator - this is also a condition for participation in the Szekszárd event.

The MCC ARS Festival in Szekszárd is scheduled for the weekend of 11-13 April 2025.

The students of the MCC ARS Szekszárd who have been awarded the Gold Award, 10 in total, will be rewarded with a four-day study trip to Paris from 24-27 June 2025.

To further enhance the festival and community experience, the National KP Saturday will also be organized at the same time, with the participation of several well-known artists, including Armand Kautzky and Paulina. In parallel to the performances, you will also be able to participate in a number of optional art workshops, so we are looking forward to an even more colorful program than last year!

As part of the MCC ARS, this year students can also take part in an art competition, the winning team of which will win a one-day tent pitch pass to the country's largest all-arts festival, the Kapolcs Valley of Arts 2025, 18-27 July.

If you would like to present your production or artwork - individually or in pairs - in one or more art categories, you have until 16 February 2025 23:59 to submit your entry by clicking on the link below, where you can also watch a video summary of last year's ARS as a teaser:
